Sustainability targets

The sustainability performance targets cover the most critical issues identified in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™Sustainability Strategy. These targets were formulated based on an evaluation of existing best practices in the industry as well as the tournament organisers’ past performance and experience. The aim was to find a balance between known constraints and the ambitious aims of the tournament organisers and their stakeholders. The footnotes provide details on the scope of each target, while further information and data can be found in the respective web pages of this report.
